EVENT SPACE

What should a toilet be? How can we best design a toilet, or washroom, lavatory, to support an event space? While the space itself is meant to facilitate entertainment, a toilet could entertain on its own. Where we use the toilet and how, and with whom we share it, might even be entertainment-adjacent. Classical forms mish-mash into a funhouse of arches, domes, porticos, columns. Where we never saw a wash basin or a toilet in a Renaissance palazzo, they are now everywhere, for convenience, and ultimately for comfort and social parity.
